A Chipley woman is in jail on drug related charges following a disturbance.
Earlier this morning, WCSO deputies responded to a residence on Carr Rd. in reference to a disturbance. Deputies make contact with the complaint 45-year-old, Utanna Pagi Baxley who stated her and her significant other had “smoked a bowl of meth” and an argument erupted pertaining to some personal items.
Baxley stated he then pushed her down and she broke all the smoking devices and threw the remainder of the methamphetamine in the trash. Baxley also advised when she contacted WCSO her significant other fled from the residence.
A subsequent search resulted in deputies locating the paraphernalia and baggies of a crystalized substance that later field tested positive for methamphetamine.
Baxley was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine.
