Winfred J. Carnley, 88 of Chipley, Florida went home to be with the Lord on July 12, 2024 at the Washington Rehab and Nursing Center.
Mr. Winfred was born January 31, 1936, to Henry and Esther Carnley. A lifelong resident of the Florida Panhandle and was a member of Blue Lake Baptist Church in Chipley, Florida. He worked as a commercial electrician until his passing. He loved fishing and hunting and spending time with his grandchildren. He loved his family dearly and will be missed by all that knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Henry and Esther Carnley; sisters: Mamie Arzy and Elouise Warren.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years: Eunice Carnley of Chipley, Florida; daughter: Patricia Wilson and husband Tad of Bonifay, Florida; brother: Quincy Carnley and wife Regina of Vernon, Florida; grandchildren: Josh Wilson and wife Kelly and Tyler Wilson; 7 great grandchildren: Deavon Chambliss, Dakota Chambliss, Montanna Chambliss, Connor Creel, Dixie Wilson, Karter Wilson and Maverick Wilson. Special nephew: Bobby Whitehurst of Marianna, Florida. Numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11AM Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at Blue Lake Baptist church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Blue Lake Baptist church.
