Vernique Michalene Taylor, 49, of Chipley, FL, entered into eternal rest on July 21, 2024.
She was preceded in death by her beloved brother Kaeron, her mother Michalene, and her Father James.
She was born to Michalene Payne and James A. Payne on April 30th, 1975, in Georgetown, Guyana, as the second born to her parents.
She was known to most as Nickie. Nickie loved her family fiercely. She was a fervently devoted mother to her children and a passionately loving wife to her husband.
To those who knew and loved Nickie, she would be best described as a faithful Catholic, fiercely loyal, dependable, kind, and an absolute riot, with a great sense of humor, an infectious laugh, and a healthy sprinkling of Caribbean sass.
Nickie dedicated her life to caring for her family. She has now joined her original family and father-in-law, Daniel J. Taylor, in eternal rest. Her memories will be forever cherished by her adoring husband, Mark Taylor, and her precious children, Gabrielle, Jackson, and Isabella; Her sisters, Diedre Wilson-Downer and Jamy Payne; and brother, Philip Payne III, and their children; as well as all of her brothers and sisters-in-law, mother-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
