On July 25, 2024, an HCSO deputy executed a traffic stop on Emory Meredith for a traffic violation on Hwy 2. During the stop, K9 Lasso was deployed and alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle.
A search was conducted, and several small glass vials were found, some containing cocaine. Additionally, pipes were discovered in the vehicle.
Meredith admitted the contraband was his and was subsequently arrested and charged with possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
