Laura Ann Jeter 58, of Marianna went home to be with the Lord on July 29, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Laura was born on April 3, 1966 in Cottondale, Florida to Jimmy White and Barbara Pumphrey. Laura was a lifelong resident of Jackson County and worked at Winn Dixie as a Assistant Manger in the Deli Department. She enjoyed spending her time sewing, crochet, coloring and taking care of her chickens. Most of all, she loved her family and will be missed.
She was preceded in death by her father: Jimmy White; daughter: Terra Riley.
She Is survived by her husband of 39 years: Larry Jeter of Marianna, FL; mother: Barbara Pumphrey (Doyle) of Cottondale, FL; sons: Jared Nicholas Lee Jeter (Taylor Hamilton) of Grand Ridge, FL , Ross Anthony Adams of Marianna, FL, Larry Travis Jeter of Marianna, FL, Jammie Albert Jeter (Jena) of Marianna, FL; daughter: Barbara Jackson (Sean) of Marianna, FL; brothers: Verlon White of Connecticut, Jimmy Pumphrey (Jeanine) of Tallahassee, FL; sisters: Belinda White of Cottondale, FL, Amy Bates of Altha, FL; grandchildren: Lawson Ray Jackson (Jenna Kusters), Caden Jackson of Marianna, FL, Kinsleigh Jackson of Marianna, FL; Kaitlyn Jeter of Marianna, Fl, Brenleigh Jeter of Marianna, FL, Brianna Shaw of Greenwood, FL, Kristen Knowles of Tallahassee, FL, Tye Riley of Dothan, AL, Abigail Lynn Wilson of Grand Ridge, FL, Aribella Lee Jeter of Grand Ridge, FL., baby Jeter on the way; great grandchildren: Christopher Hough, Carson Shaw, Charlotte Barady. nephew: Justin Snipes (Breanna); great nephew: Trent Snipes, Austin Snipes.
Service will be held 11 AM Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at Obert Funeral Home Chapel (731 Kirkland Road Chipley, Florida) with Rev. Charles Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in Sapp Church Cemetery in Cottondale, Florida. Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida directing.
The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the service at Obert Funeral Home Chapel.
