A Vernon man was arrested this weekend after threatening to kill a man with a firearm.
On Saturday July 27th, at approximately 11:40 a.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a suspicious incident at the corner of Catfish Alley and Stumpknocker Trail in New Hope. The victim called stating 42-year-old, Brandon Shane Wise had come to his yard making threats to kill him while holding what witnesses say was a shotgun.
After further investigation, Wise was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and booked into the Washington County Jail.
