An Alabama man is behind bars and facing drug-related charges after a traffic stop in Washington County.
At approximately 2 p.m., on July 29th, Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies stopped a vehicle traveling Westbound on Interstate 10 near mile marker 108. As deputies made contact with the subject in the vehicle, they noticed an odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle.
A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in, 58-year-old Jeffrey Daniel Nolin of Pittsview, AL, being taken into custody after deputies located methamphetamine, other illegal drugs and paraphernalia.
Nolin was booked into the Washington County Jail on charges of 2 counts of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
