Holmes County, Florida Sheriff’s Office Arrests Stephen Jones for Methamphetamine, Etc.

In the early morning hours of August 3, 2024, a Holmes County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) deputy was patrolling the Peak Rd area in response to complaints about illegal drug activity.
 
The deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Stephen Jones for a traffic violation.
 
During the stop, the deputy observed probable cause to search the vehicle.
 
Upon conducting the search, a black sunglass case containing a trafficking amount of methamphetamine was found hidden in the headliner/sunroof area.
 
Jones admitted to possessing the meth and was subsequently arrested and charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
