Drivers will encounter traffic disruptions on the following state roads in Holmes and Washington counties as crews perform construction and maintenance activities.
Holmes County:
- U.S. 90 Resurfacing from Walton County Line to east of CSX Railroad – Motorists may encounter intermittent daytime lane closures Monday, Aug. 26 through Friday, Aug. 30 for construction activities.
Washington County:
- Interstate 10 Bridge Rehabilitation over Choctawhatchee River – Motorists may encounter intermittent daytime lane closures Monday, Aug. 26 through Friday, Aug. 30 for construction operations.
- State Road (S.R.) 77 widening north of Rodgers Road to south of Cane Mill Road – S.R. 77 drivers will encounter alternating lane closures between Cane Mill Road and Memorial Drive, Monday, Aug. 26 through Tuesday, Aug. 27 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
All activities are weather dependent and may be delayed or rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. Drivers are reminded to use caution, especially at night, when traveling through a work zone and to watch for construction workers and equipment entering and exiting the roadway.
