Holmes County, Florida Sheriff’s Office Arrests Nicholas Nixon for Burglary and Grand Theft

On July 10, 2024, deputies from the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of stolen items from a storage shed located on Sod Road. Among the stolen items was a .357 handgun.

The case was promptly assigned to an investigator, who, through diligent work and thorough investigation, including witness statements and other critical evidence, identified Nicholas Nixon as the individual responsible for the theft.

As a result of the investigation, warrants were obtained for Nixon on charges of burglary and grand theft. On August 24, 2024, Nixon was arrested on these warrants.

The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office will continue to work diligently to bring justice to those affected by crime in our community. We encourage residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to law enforcement.
