Computer models remain in agreement that Helene is expected to continue northward today as high pressure over Florida shifts east.
A general northward motion is expected to continue through the next 48 hours. Helene is still expected to accelerate while it moves northward over the eastern Gulf of Mexico.
Rapid intensification is possible and landfall is tomorrow.
