The National Peanut Festival (NPF) is excited to announce that Brightspeed, one of the nation’s largest fiber builders focused on empowering more homes with ultrafast, reliable internet, has secured the naming rights for the newly renovated Brightspeed Hospitality Center, formerly known as the volunteer building, located at the NPF Fairgrounds.
This partnership, which marks a significant commitment from Brightspeed, will provide essential services to the 300+ volunteers, sponsors, and workers who are integral to the success of the festival each year. The Brightspeed Hospitality Center will offer snacks, meals, and refreshments to the dedicated individuals who contribute to the festival’s operations, ensuring they are well-supported during the busy event schedule.
The Brightspeed Hospitality Center is currently undergoing extensive renovations to enhance the facilities. Upon completion, it will not only serve as a hub during the National Peanut Festival but will also be utilized for meetings and events throughout the year, solidifying its role as a key asset for the fairgrounds and the broader community.
“We are thrilled to partner with Brightspeed in this meaningful way,” said Tony Ellison, Executive Director of the National Peanut Festival. “Their support of the Hospitality Center demonstrates a strong commitment to our volunteers and workers, who are the backbone of the festival. We’re grateful for their investment in the future of the National Peanut Festival and its community of supporters.”
The Brightspeed sponsorship is part of a three-year commitment that will ensure the continuation of these vital services, reinforcing Brightspeed’s dedication to the region and its cherished traditions.
At Brightspeed, we are committed to uplifting the communities that we serve,” said Tali Kulbeda, head of local marketing at Brightspeed. “The National Peanut Festival brings people together and celebrates the agricultural heritage of the area where we live and work. We’re proud to support the volunteers and workers who make this event possible, and look forward to the positive impact the Brightspeed Hospitality Center will have year-round.”
The National Peanut Festival, celebrating its 80th anniversary this year, continues to honor the peanut industry with its rich history, entertainment, and community activities. The support from sponsors like Brightspeed helps ensure the ongoing success of the event.
