Shortly after 6 p.m. Washington County, Florida Sheriff’s Office Telecommunications Center received several calls in reference to a vehicle being shot at inside the city limits of Chipley.
Information relayed stated that the suspects fled the scene in a White Kia. Within minutes WCSO deputies located the vehicle in question and initiated a traffic stop. The vehicle failed to stop and a pursuit ensued through the West side of the county.
As the vehicle continued traveling and attempted to enter onto Interstate 10 the vehicle wrecked and the pursuit ended.
Two male subjects were taken into custody. Joint efforts with the Chipley Police Department to further the investigation. More information will be released as available.
