A Look Back as Florida Panhandle Technical College Visits Chipley, Florida High School For Career Day Presentation on October 28

Several instructors, students and administrators from Florida Panhandle Technical College in Chipley, Florida visited Chipley High School in response to an invitation to take part in a Career Day Presentation on Thursday, October 28, 2021, as seen in Part 1 of these photos taken by FPTC Photography students.

The group visited the AVID class (Advancement Via Individual Determination), which included over 20 students, along with mentor Tracey Gilbert, and the group was very receptive to the presentation, which included information about the Patient Care Technician Program, Phlebotomy, Cosmetology, Law Enforcement and Corrections, Digital Video and Digital Photography and others.

A total-immersion program featuring hands-on work, studio experience and field trips, dual-enrolled high school students may attend at no cost, for half of each school day in their Junior and Senior year.
