Betty H. Ross, 84 of Cottondale, Florida went home to be with the Lord on November 3, 2024 at Courtyard Healthcare Center in Marianna, Florida.
Betty was born on May 1, 1940 in Pensacola, Florida to Clinton and Bessie Haynes. She was a lifelong resident of the Florida Panhandle and of the Baptist faith. Betty loved her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Clinton and Bessie Haynes,
She is survived by her daughter: Velma Tuner of Cottondale, FL; sisters: Ada Vargas (Charlie) of Pensacola, FL, Nancy Yuhasz of Pensacola, FL, Kay Schroeder (Rick) of Pensacola, FL; grandchildren: Stacy Powell (Derrick), April Bodiford (Michael); great grandchildren: Savanna Powell, Dawson Powell, Shayla Powell, Sierra Powell, Lawren Bodiford.
Service will be held 2 PM Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at Obert Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Derrick Powell officiating. Interment will at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Cottondale, Florida. Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida directing.
