On November 2, 2024, a Holmes County Sheriff’s Office deputy conducted a traffic stop on Highway 79 for a traffic infraction. The driver was identified as Nicole Selman, with Andrew Doty as the passenger.
K9 Paycheck was deployed to perform a free air sniff around the vehicle, alerting to the presence of narcotics. Selman subsequently removed a pipe and methamphetamine from her person, and both she and Doty admitted to recent methamphetamine use.
Selman and Doty were both arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
