Roger Dale Williams Sr., age 76, Bonifay, Florida passed November 5, 2024, at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Alabama surrounded by his loving family. Roger was born October 17, 1948, in Warwick, New York to the late William and Kate Williams. In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Williams, and three brothers, John Williams, Dave Williams, and Benji Williams.
Roger is survived by his companion, Julia Moralas of Bonifay, FL; one son, Roger Williams Jr and wife Sandra of Bonifay, FL; one daughter, Penny Williams of Vernon, FL; seven grandchildren, Craig Welsh, Matt and Kimberly Williams, Natalie Curry, Kara Williams, Stephen Welsh, Cody Williams, and Philip Agolio; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Roger had an enduring love for the outdoors, and he found immense joy in camping, fishing, and being in nature. He cherished every opportunity to be outside, where he felt most at peace. However, his greatest joy in life was his family. He loved deeply and unconditionally.
A celebration of life service will be held at 4:00 PM Friday, November 8, 2024, in the Peel Funeral Home Chapel. Memorialization will be by cremation with Peel Funeral Home and Bonifay Crematory in charge of arrangements.
