On November 6, 2024, at 3:20 AM, the Lynn Haven Police Department responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Shell Gas Station on Highway 77. Upon arrival, officers determined that the store clerk had been held at gunpoint by a masked white male. They quickly began gathering evidence, including video footage from the store, which helped identify a possible suspect vehicle.
The investigative team communicated their findings to the Bay County Sheriff’s Office Crime Center, known as “BAYROC,” the following morning. Using advanced technology, they successfully identified the suspect vehicle, and the individual involved.
Further investigation revealed that the suspect was employed in Port St. Joe. Thanks to the collaboration with local authorities, the suspect was apprehended later that evening in their city.
The suspect was identified as Jeffery James Fallin, who lives at 201 W 17th Street in Lynn Haven, Florida. He is scheduled to appear before a local judge today on one count of armed robbery, and investigators are following up on additional felony charges. Fallin is a convicted felon, having been released from prison in 2014.
Chief Ricky Ramie extends his gratitude to Sheriff Tommy Ford and Port St. Joe Chief of Police Jake Richards, along with their officers and staff, for their invaluable assistance in apprehending the suspect.
