With the help of volunteers, AARP Foundation Tax-Aide offers free Federal income tax preparation to anyone, with a focus on taxpayers who a 50+ with low to moderate income. This program is a partnership of AARP and the Internal Revenue Service.
The local Tax-Aide group is looking for friendly individuals to join us as tax preparers for the upcoming tax season. Previous experience or tax training is not necessary. You’ll receive training and support, learn new skills and feel great while helping others.
You’ll receive training in January, then assist at a tax preparation site Feb-April 15, 2025 one-two days per week.
