One of the most accomplished players in Florida State University Basketball history, guard Trent Forrest was not selected during the 2020 NBA Draft held on Wednesday night, November 18, 2020.
A Chipley, Florida native, six-foot-four Trent Forrest averaged 11.6 points and four assists per game for the Florida State University Seminoles, and shot just over 28% from behind the 3-point line.
Last season, Forrest also helped the Seminoles to a 26-5 record (16-4 ACC) and the ACC Championship.
On Wednesday, November 18, 2020, two Florida State players were scooped up in the lottery- Patrick Williams, selected fourth overall by the Chicago Bulls, and Devin Vassell, chosen eleventh overall by the San Antonio Spurs.
Following the NBA draft, NBA teams on Wednesday, November 16 night and Thursday, November 19 morning were signing players not selected to free agent and two-way deals.
