Two injured in three-car pileup on State Road 77 in Washington County ………..

The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) reports at 6 a.m. accident today sent two people to the hospital.

 

According to the FHP, 44-year-old Alan Sjoken of Southport, Florida was traveling south on State Road 77 in a 2006 Ford F250, while a 2013  Kia Forte being driven by Allisa Padgett, 20, of Cottondale, Florida was stopped in traffic facing south on the highway.  The Sjoken failed to stop behind the Kia.  This action caused the front of the Ford to collide with the rear of the Kia.  Upon colliding with the Kia that vehicle started traveling in a southeasterly direction into the northbound lanes of SR 77 into the path of a 1998 Ford Expedition driven by Dapo Clark, 43, of Lynn Haven, Florida.

 

Both Padgett and Clark were transported to Bay Medical-Sacred Heart Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
