The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) reports that 14-year-old Nela Nelson received serious injuries in an accident on Fawnbridge Drive around 7 p.m. Feb. 20th.
According to the FHP, Nelson was riding in the bed of a 2005 Ford F150 at the time of the accident. The truck was being driven by 32-year-old Allen D. Nelson, with 32-year-old Candy Nelson listed as a passenger in the truck.
The FHP report states that at some point during the truck’s movement on the unpaved dirt road the 14-year-old fell out of the bed of the pickup receiving serious injuries. She was transported to Bay Medical/Sacred Heart.
