The Chipley Planning & Zoning Board approved a Development Order at their Thursday meeting to allow Joey Nichols and RD Easterling to develop a used car lot at 1142 Jackson Avenue.

The action came after two of the Planning/Zoning Board members were sworn in. Taking their places on the board following the swearing-in ceremony were David Ridley and Holland Kent.
Appointment of a new chairman and vice-chair were the next items addressed. Taking over as chairman is Thomas Lancaster and vice chair is Wanda Owens.

When it came time for the P&Z Board to address the Development Order issue for Nichols and Easterling they were told all data submitted by the developer was in order and met appropriate standards.
