The 2018 Festival season is kicking off in Northwest Florida, most recently celebrating our friends of Scottish heritage with the the Panama City Beach and Southeast Alabama Scottish Festivals and Highland Games in Panama City Beach and Dothan respectively.
Coming soon will be the 2018 Watermelon Festival, this year on Friday, June 22 featuring Country music artist and headliner Joe Nichols, and opening for Joe Nichols will be Deana Carter, famous for ‘Strawberry Wine’.
On Saturday, June 23 the festival will will feature a couple of songwriters at the Ag Center whose name you may not recognize but whose songs you have heard again and again. This session will feature singer-songwriters Paul Overstreet and Wendell Mobley, with many hits between them.
