While it is sad to see the past going by the wayside, demonlition of the old ice house at the intersection of Hwys 90 and77, gives a great new opportunity to improve the appearance of Chipley.
Grants through the Chipley Redevelopment Agency and personal investments in their businesses by local business owners are also beginning to show a dividend in the downtown Chipley district, while maintaining the historic appearance of our community.
With KC’s Pizza ready to open in the very near future, other downtown businesses expanding, and downtown buildings being updated and ready to house new businesses, it’s nice to see good things happening.
