The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) reports that 24-year-old Henry Lee Ward, Jr. of Marianna, Florida, received serious injuries in an 8:15 a.m. crash on Sunday.
According to the FHP, Ward was driving a 2012 Toyota Corolla northbound on Dudley Road in Jackson County when for unknown reasons, the vehicle traveled onto the east shoulder of the roadway. The driver reportedly over-corrected back to the left and then the Toyota began to rotate counter clockwise traveling back onto the roadway and then onto the west shoulder. The right side of the vehicle collided with a tree.
Ward was transported to the Dothan, Alabama medical facility.
The Florida Highway Patrol was assisted on scene by the Jackson County Dheriff’s Office and the Jackson Cuonty Fire Rescue.
