‘Tropical Storm Michael’ is forecast to be upgraded to ‘Hurricane Michael’ on the morning of Monday, October 8, 2018.
As of 5:45 AM on Monday, October 8, 2018, Michael is expected to be near major hurricane status when it makes landfall on the coastline of the Florida Gulf on Wednesday afternoon, October 10, 2018, with winds around 110 miles per hour.
The National Weather Service offices in Tallahassee and Mobile will issue further updates at 4 AM, 10 AM, 4 PM and 10 PM CDT.
