Mrs. Elaine Hazel Ramsden Lindsey, 87, of Panama City, FL, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 11, 2019. She was born in Norwich, CT and graduated from Norwich Free Academy. She married John Lindsey and resided in Bad Kreuznach, Germany, Brookline, MA and Kennebunk, ME before settling down in Lynn Haven, FL. She was a longtime member of the Zeta Sigma Phi Sorority as well as an active member of the Panama City Widowed Persons Services. In her long residence at the St. Andrew Towers, she was active in and presided over the tenant’s association for many years She will be remembered as Miss Elaine as owner/operator of Happy Days Child Care as well as coordinating the growth of Child Care Services at Lynn Haven Baptist Church and Bayou George Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Conrad Lindsey; parents, William Arthur Ramsden and Evelyn Raynor Ramsden; her brothers, William, Jr., Donald and Richard. Elaine leaves behind her loving sons, Mark Lindsey (Barbara) and Brian Lindsey (Jennifer); devoted daughter, Joyce Lindsey Hall (Robbie); grandchildren, Trevor, Melissa, Morgan, Maura, Brianna, Laine, and Garrett. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Southerland Event Center with Rev. Virgil Tillman officiating. Interment will follow in Lynn Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 hr. prior to the service.
