The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) reports that Sneads resident Connith Harris received serious injuries in a traffic accident March 28th in Jackson County.
FHP reports that around 8:30 p.m. on Thursday 35-year-old William Fuqua of Marianna, Florida was traveling southbound in the outside lane of SR 71 in a GMC Sierra, when a pediestrian entered the roadway from the east walking into the path of the vehicle. According to the FHP, this action caused the right front of the Sierra to collide with the pedestrian.
The pedestrian, identified as Connith Harris, was transported via EMS to a medical facility in Dothan, Alabama with serious injuries.
