Washington County’s Tourist Development Council (TDC) reports that the visitwdcfla.com, funded in part by VISITFLORIDA, is bringing more visitors to the county.

TDC Director Heather Lopez reported to the TDC board on Thursday that they launched a Spring campaign to stress the unique experiences that await visitors coming to Washington County.

Focus of the ad campaign is to stress that the county has outstanding outdoor recreational opportunities for visitors, as well as natural beauty along with quaint towns to attract visitors.

Billing Washing County as having the largest wolf preserve in the Southeast, as well as the tallest waterfall in the State of Florida, the ad campaign will also highlight other outdoor activities in the county. Lopez said the ads promoting Washington County will appear in upcoming issues of Travel South Magazine, Emerald Coast Magazine, Pensacola Magazine, Tallahassee News, as well as on Facebook.

Lopez told board members that recent ads in the Entertainer (News Herald and Northwest Florida Daily News), have already shown good results in bringing visitors to the county.

Lopez also highlighted the following information at this week’s TDC meeting:
