Walter “Doodle” Locke Jr., 81 of Wausau, Florida went home to be with the Lord December 3, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his family.
Doodle was born September 10, 1938 in Washington County, Florida to Walter and Pearl Hicks Locke. He worked for the Washington County Road Department and was a member of the Wausau Assembly of God Church. He enjoyed fishing and loved working on the farm.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Walter and Pearl Locke; son: Matt Riley; brothers: Charles “Tittle” Locke and Eugene “Dick” Locke; sister: Elvinia Locke.
He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Margaret Locke of Wausau, Florida; sons: Wayne Locke (Andrea) of Wausau, Florida, Dennis Locke (Christy) of Vancouver, Washington, Quinton Riley (Rena) of Vernon, Florida; daughter: Cindy Harrison (Duran) of Ebro, Florida;sisters:Anne Adams (Robert of Alford, Florida, Faye Morris of Alford, Florida; 9 grandchildren: Sierra Slaughter (David), Morgan Locke, Malinda Locke, Clayton Riley, Jake Riley, Kati Riley, Abby Locke, Ryan Locke and Kylie Harrison; 1 great grandchild: Sage Slaughter.
