Ms. Bobbie Jean Cook, 87, of Panama City, FL, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 of natural causes. She was born in Graceville, FL on May 10, 1931 to Noah and Inez Cook. Bobbie Jean graduated from Bay High School in 1950 and soon after moved to Washington, DC where she was employed with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. She returned to Panama City years later and worked as the manager of The Officers Club at Tyndall Air Force Base, and eventually established her career with the Panama City Police Department from 1968 to 1996, retiring after 28 yrs. of service. Bobbie Jean was also a member of Holy Nativity Episcopal Church. Bobbie Jean loved her family, friends and her church. She was especially fond of her Magnolia Café Lunch Bunch.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Iduma Cook Rexrode and Colleen Roberts.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Greenwood Cemetery.
