Habitat hosts house dedication in Chipley ……………………

Selena Godwin and her son took a big step Thursday afternoon as they participated in dedication of their new home in Chipley built under the Habitat for Humanity program in Washington and Jackson counties.

Chipola Area Habitat for Humanity President Tracy Andrews and Executive Director Carmen  Smith were on hand with family members and friends to mark the new beginning for Selena and her son.

Since 1988, Chipola Area Habitat for Humanity has helped more than 70 families achieve self-reliance and stability through shelter.

The new home is a great addition to the neighborhood.
Habitat President Tracy Andews presented the keys to the home to Selena and her son.
Chipola Area Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors were on hand for the dedication.
