Vernon, Florida Mayor Laura Olene Brewer copyrighted the name ‘Firecracker Pageant’ a number of years ago, and has successfully executed the annual Miss Firecracker Pageant every year in Vernon, with all proceeds going to fund the July 4 fireworks show held at the Vernon SportsPlex.
Brewer recently announced that the 2020 event will be held on Saturday, June 20 at 4PM, and will feature ten categories with some of the most beautiful young ladies in the region, as seen these photos from the 2019 event by Paul Goulding Photography, a subsidiary of The Goulding Agency in Chipley, Florida.
