Mrs. Iris Cordelia Bush Hodge, age 80, of Bonifay, Florida passed away January 13, 2021 at Northwest Florida Community Hospital in Chipley, Florida.

She was born June 16, 1940 in Bonifay, Florida to the late John King Bush and Lola Mae McCullough Bush.

In addition to her parents, Iris was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Carthell Hodge and two brothers, Charles Wayne Bush and Doyle Lee Bush.

Mrs. Hodge is survived by one son, Johnny Leon Hodge of Fort Walton Beach, FL; three daughters, Vickey Peel and husband Fred of Chipley, FL, Donna Hawkins and husband John of Vernon, FL, and Patty Pippin and husband Alan of Bonifay, FL: one brother, John Leslie Bush and wife Dorothy of Bonifay, FL; one sister, Sue Baker and husband Rhett of Skipperville, AL; six grandchildren, Trey Hawkins and wife Jessica, Jessica Lipford and husband Cary, Monica Crutchfield, Meleah Davis and husband Josh, Jerrid Pippin and wife Mary, and Hannah Pippin; ten great-grandchildren, Kensely Hawkins, Kash Lipford, Kayson Hawkins, Kaylee Hawkins, Branson Davis, Bryleigh Davis, E.J. Crutchfield, Maddie Crutchfield, Jerrid Pippin II, and Leonia Pippin; numerous nieces and nephews.

A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 16, 2021, in the Gully Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tim Bush and Rev. Josh Hodge officiating.  Peel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be given to Northwest Florida Community Hospital Third Floor Residents Council.
