Washington County, Florida Sheriff’s Office Arrests Leeazia Marie Taylor, 30, for Methamphetamine on January 30, 2024

A Jackson County woman is behind bars after a traffic stop yields methamphetamine.
 
At approximately 6:30 p.m., January 30th, a Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy initiated a traffic stop near Orange Hill Rd. and Alford Rd. Deputies made contact with the driver, 30-year-old, Leeazia Marie Taylor.
 
During the stop, a department issued K-9 was deployed and positively alerted on the vehicle, indicating the presence of narcotics.
 
A search of the vehicle was conducted, and Taylor was found to be in possession of two cigarette packs.
 
The first contained a controlled substance and the other contained a smoking device and a white crystal substance that later field tested positive for methamphetamines.
 
Taylor was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
