Holmes County, Florida Sheriff’s Office Arrests Kathleen Shaner of Bonifay for Paraphernalia, Methamphetamine.

On March 4, 2024, investigators with the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle on Hwy 90 W in Bonifay.
 
Contact was made with the driver, later identified as Kathleen Shaner of Bonifay.
 
During the stop, investigators noticed something resembling a glass pipe in Ms. Shaner’s pocket.
 
When asked about it, Shaner produced the pipe which held methamphetamine residue.
 
Investigators asked what else she may have in her pockets, at which point Shaner turned away and began digging in her pockets.
 
A clear bag containing methamphetamine fell on the ground and Shaner tried to step on it in an attempt to conceal or destroy it.
 
Kathleen Shaner was taken into custody and transported to the Holmes County Jail.
 
She is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine, and destroying or tampering with evidence.
