On Tuesday, March 19, 2024, the Walton County Sheriff’s Office Street Crimes Unit arrested Christopher Wayne Ponds, 23, for felony warrants out of Holmes County Sheriff’s Office.
During the arrest, Ponds resisted deputies and was additionally charged with obstruction without violence.
Ponds is the suspect in a vehicle theft off of Linda Lane in DeFuniak Springs on March 17th.
The vehicle has been recovered by Walton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Unit. Additional charges are forthcoming.
