JoeAnn Turberville, 87 of Bonifay, went home to be with the Lord on March 21, 2024 at Southeast Health in Dothan, Alabama.
JoeAnn was born on March 7, 1937 in Kissimmee, Florida to Donald Amos and Cora Lee (Story) Hughes. She had lived in the Florida panhandle since 1990, coming from Central Florida, and was of the Christian Faith. JoeAnn enjoyed working in her yard and garden, and was known for her “Green Thumb”. She never met a stranger and was always willing to help those in need in any capacity she could. She will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Donald and Cora Hughes; sister: Delores Feeback.
She is survived by her loving husband: Derrick Turberville of Bonifay, Florida; niece: Debbie Koehler of Sanford, Florida; nephew: Pee Wee Terrell and wife Sandra of Geneva, Florida.
Graveside funeral service will be held 11AM Monday, March 25, 2024 at Bethany Baptist Church in Bonifay, Florida with Pastor Shane Obert officiating. Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida directing.
