A man and woman were arrested on felony drug charges after Washington County Sheriff’s deputies respond to a disturbance yesterday afternoon.
On April 3rd at approximately 3:10 p.m., WCSO deputies responded to a North Silver Lake Rd. residence in reference to disturbance that was in progress. WCSO Telecommunications Center advised a female occupant of the home had locked herself in the bedroom due to another subject in the home being aggressive. She also advised that the subject had outstanding warrants in Washington County.
Once on scene, WCSO deputies along with Bay County deputies went to the residence to make contact with the complainant. They could hear a female crying on the inside of the home and began talking with her and asking her to come out. The complainant said she did not know where the subject was but gave permission for deputies to enter the residence.
While deputies were inside the residence they observed several illegal items in every room of the house. Two additional occupants were located inside the home and detained. Once the residence was secured, the female complainant was assessed by EMS and released.
During the search deputies located several smoking devices with a crystal-like substance, digital scales, firearms, several live rounds of ammunition, marijuana, and approximately 900 grams of methamphetamine.
25-year-old, Robert Anthony Mallory and 31-year-old Leona Aase Nicole Mallory both of Fountain were arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail on charges of trafficking methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Also warrants are being obtained for 39-year-old James Michael Cox in reference to active warrants for violation of probation, trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of weapon by a convicted felon and possession with intent to sell, manufacture or deliver.
