Lenora Thrift Pfautz, 67 of Cottondale, Florida Passes on March 29, 2024

Lenora Thrift Pfautz, 67 of Cottondale, went home to be with the Lord on March 29, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family. 

Lenora was born on August 1, 1956 in Lake Butler, Florida to Floyd “Buck” Thrift and Jewell Frances Rhoden. She was of the Christian faith and enjoyed spending time at the jetties searching for shark teeth and seashells. Lenora also loved her quiet time working puzzles and reading her favorite books. She loved animals, but especially her dog Trickster, who stayed with her until the very end. She will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved her. 

She was preceded in death by her father: Floyd “Buck” Thrift; mother: Jewell Harvey; step father: Paul Harvey; daughter: Meranda Cambal; brother: Lawrence Carver; sister: Janet Henley; granddaughter: Courtney Burdeshaw.

She is survived by her daughters: Adrianne Noblitt and husband Wayne of Cottondale, Florida, Dana Carver of Columbia, Alabama; brother: James Carver of Fleming Island, Florida; sister: Sheila Cope of Macclenney, Florida; son-in-law: Dan Cambal of Katy, Texas; six grandchildren; one great grandchild.

A memorial service will be held in her honor 11 AM Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Community Full Gospel Church (12664 Mud Lake Road Glen St. Mary, Florida 32040) with Pastor Tommy Richardson officiating. Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida in charge of arrangements.
