Construction continues on a 3.5-mile segment of State Road (S.R.) 77, between Rogers Road and Cane Mill Road in Washington County.
Crews have been busy preparing S.R. 77 for upcoming lane widening through the heart of Wausau. Here the project team is clearing and grading the future roadway footprint, making way for safer, smoother travel and improved traffic flow.
This work is part of the $56 million S.R. 77 Widening project that is underway from Rodgers Road to Cane Mill Road, in Wausau. The project is scheduled for completion in early 2028.
