Walton County Fire Rescue, Walton County Sheriff’s Office, Florida, and volunteers from Liberty are on scene of a brush fire along Williams Road just north of DeFuniak Springs.
The fire is spreading towards the Rockman Road area. We are asking residents in the surrounding areas to use caution and stay alert as the situation develops.
If the fire moves closer, we may advise evacuations, so please be prepared to leave the area if necessary. Your safety is our top priority, and we will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available.
