The MLK Jr. Recreation Center had its soft opening on December 15th, and what a special day it was!
A huge thank you to Tammy Anderson, Pastor of House of Hope, for her moving opening invocation, and to our guest speakers Janice Lucas, Mitch Hilkemeyer of Burke Construction Group, and Roman Gary from CCR Architecture & Interiors for their incredible work in bringing this community gem back to life. 
We’re also thrilled to have Javien Elliott leading the way as we move into the future with the management of the center. From the gym and fitness rooms to the STEM lab, arts & crafts studio, and outdoor fields, we can’t wait for everyone to experience this amazing new amenity when it opens fully in mid-January!
