Construction continues on a 3.5-mile segment of State Road (S.R.) 77, between Rogers Road and Cane Mill Road in Washington County.
In this photo, a crew member is shown working within a pile-driving frame and lead system, a heavy steel structure that keeps the auger and pile perfectly aligned during pre-drilling. This structure provides stability and precision as crews prepare the ground for deep foundation piles on the Finch Circle bridge.
This work is part of the $56 million S.R. 77 Widening project that is underway from Rodgers Road to Cane Mill Road, in Wausau. The project is scheduled for completion in early 2028.
