On January 6, 2025, a deputy with the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling on Highway 90 for multiple traffic violations. During the stop, the passenger was identified as Danyella Nichols of DeFuniak Springs.
A search of the vehicle revealed methamphetamine and a smoking pipe located on the passenger side. Nichols was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
