Work continues to widen a 3.5-mile segment of State Road (S.R.) 77, between Rogers Road and Cane Mill Road in Washington County.
Progress is ongoing near Finch Circle as crews perform grading, drainage improvements, and preparation of the roadway footprint for future lanes. This critical early work lays the groundwork for additional capacity, improved traffic flow, and enhanced safety, all while maintaining access for drivers as construction moves forward.
This work is part of the $56 million S.R. 77 Widening project that is underway from Rodgers Road to Cane Mill Road, in Wausau. The project is scheduled for completion in early 2028.
