Global models have been hinting at a weak wave on the Arctic front over the northern Gulf in recent runs.
The reliable European global model, on the latest run just in (18Z), suggests there could be some potential for light snow accumulation over the southeast corner of the state around Dothan Sunday morning.
The model is hinting at a band of accumulating snow from near Dothan, Marianna, and Panama City through parts of southern Georgia and the eastern Carolinas.
The evening runs (00Z) will tell a much better story, and once we get within 60 hours we will be able to see the good, high resolution model output that will add to forecast confidence.
