John “Skip” Cullen Taylor, Jr., 62 of Enterprise, Alabama Passes on January 19, 2026 at Flowers Hospital

John “Skip” Cullen Taylor, Jr. of Enterprise, Alabama passed away, Monday, January 19, 2026, at Flowers Hospital. He was 62.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, January 23, 2026, at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Jeff Ross and Pastor Alan Burnett officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time.

Skip was truly one of a kind with a heart of gold. He loved all music- a soundtrack to a life lived fully and vibrantly. Everyone who knew him would agree he was always quick with a charming smile and a joke that could light up any room. His love for Alabama football was legendary, a passion he loved to share. He touched so many lives, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, friendship, and an unforgettable love for life.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Flor and Laura Ayala and paternal grandparents, Fred and Nina Taylor.

Survivors include his daughter, Meagan Farris (Chris), Appling, GA; son, Matthew Taylor, Panama City Beach, FL; mother, Helen Duffy (Edwin), Enterprise, AL; father, John Taylor (Debbie), Dothan, AL; sister, Tammy Quimby (Chris), Bonaire, GA: brother, Tony Taylor (Linda), Panama City, FL; four grandchildren, Ayden, Fiona, Aulora, and Ava; several nieces and nephews who adored him immensely.
