On January 30, 2026, a Holmes County Sheriff’s Office deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling on Highway 179 driven by Tommy Lewis.
During the stop, K9 Timex was deployed for a free-air sniff and alerted to the presence of narcotics inside the vehicle. Lewis advised deputies that he had a dollar bill in his pocket containing methamphetamine rolled inside.
Deputies located the methamphetamine, and Lewis was taken into custody. He was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
